Strong and dependable
The item Building Kit System has been expanded to include the Karakuri/LCA chain drive. This new addition uses a steel chain to transmit forces to moving components – without any risk of the slippage or elongation that can occur when using cables.
item Industrietechnik GmbH has added a Karakuri/LCA chain drive to its Lean Production Building Kit System. As a result, users now have an alternative to cables for mechanically automating processes in Karakuri/LCA applications, which utilise only physical principles such as gravity. A steel chain offers clear advantages, enabling the slip-free transmission of forces without any elongation. The new Karakuri/LCA chain drive is made up of carefully coordinated components for connecting a chain to profiles, redirecting a chain and transmitting forces via a sprocket wheel. For example, a mechanism can be built to convert the pulling of a lever into a rotational movement. What’s more, using two sprocket wheels is a simple solution for synchronising processes. The new component has a high load-carrying capacity and ensures maximum process reliability. Karakuri/LCA solutions ease the strain on staff considerably.
