Due to the growing number of coronavirus infections, item has decided not to take part in the LogiMAT 2020 logistics trade fair in Stuttgart. The health of customers, partners, trade fair visitors and employees is the company’s top priority. item is not participating in LogiMAT this year – a decision that has not been easy for the global market leader in building kit systems for industrial applications. “Our company believes the persistent and considerable risks of infection justify the decision to pull out of the fair and make it a prudent move,” says Stephan Buchmann, Executive Managing Director at item Industrietechnik. “We want to help prevent the potential spread of the virus.” Due to the growing number of coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 infections, the health and safety of staff and visitors alike can reportedly no longer be guaranteed, even despite the countermeasures that have been announced.

item is presenting its innovations and products that facilitate efficient intralogistics with a special virtual trade fair stand for LogiMAT 2020. Videos showcasing the exhibit highlights can be found on the landing page. In these brief clips, our experts explain the functions and special features of the trade fair exhibits. Anyone who wants to find out more can complete a form to arrange for a customer adviser to call them by telephone or make an on-site visit to their premises. Experts from the various product areas will also be on hand to answer questions during a special surgery on Tuesday 10 March 2020.
